Booking & Pricing
How do I book a tattoo with Jane?
Start by submitting a tattoo request with your idea, placement, approximate size, reference images, budget, and availability. Jane reviews each request personally and will get in touch to discuss the project and scheduling. Submitting a request does not automatically book an appointment.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Jane currently charges $150 per hour. The total cost depends on the size, placement, detail, and time required for the piece. Larger tattoos may require multiple sessions. Jane can discuss the expected time and cost with you before booking.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A $150 non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve your appointment. The deposit is applied toward the cost of your tattoo. For projects requiring multiple sessions, it is held and applied to the final session.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. With at least 48 hours' notice, you may reschedule once and your deposit will transfer to your new appointment.
Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice or rescheduling a second time will forfeit the deposit, and a new $150 deposit will be required to book another appointment.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations and no-shows forfeit the booking deposit. A new deposit will be required if you decide to book again in the future.
Jane understands that genuine emergencies happen and may make exceptions at her discretion.
What if Jane needs to reschedule?
If Jane needs to reschedule, your deposit will transfer to the new appointment at no additional cost. If Jane is unable to complete the project, your deposit will be refunded.
How far in advance should I book?
Availability changes throughout the year, so there isn't a fixed amount of time you need to book ahead. If you have a specific date range in mind, include it with your request. The earlier Jane knows about your scheduling needs, the easier it is to find an appointment that works.
Your Tattoo
What styles does Jane specialize in?
Jane specializes in realism, with a particular focus on color realism and black & gray. She also loves surreal, strange, unconventional, and imaginative concepts—especially projects that give her room to get creative.
Can I bring my own idea or reference images?
Absolutely. Reference images are helpful for communicating the direction, mood, subject matter, composition, or details you're drawn to. They don't need to show exactly what you want. Jane will use your ideas and references as a starting point for creating your tattoo.
Does Jane do cover-ups?
Cover-ups are considered case by case. Submit a request with clear photos of the existing tattoo and an explanation of what you'd like to do with it. Jane can determine whether the project is a good fit and discuss possible approaches with you.
When will I see my tattoo design?
Your design will be presented on the day of your tattoo appointment. Minor adjustments can usually be made when you review it with Jane.
Can I request changes to the design?
Minor adjustments can usually be made when you review the design. A substantial change to the concept, subject matter, placement, size, or overall direction may require additional design time, a new appointment, and/or a new deposit.
If your idea has changed significantly, contact Jane before your appointment rather than waiting until the day of your session.
How does available flash work?
Available flash consists of designs Jane has already created that are ready to be tattooed. If you find one you love, use the Request This Design option to send Jane an inquiry.
Submitting a request does not reserve the design. Jane reviews the request first, and the design is reserved after Jane approves the project and the required deposit has been received.
Your Appointment

How should I prepare for my appointment?
Get a good night's sleep, eat a substantial meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and wear comfortable clothing that gives Jane easy access to the area being tattooed. Don't arrive intoxicated or impaired.
For longer sessions, feel free to bring water, a snack, headphones, or something to keep yourself occupied.
What if I'm running late?
